Based on new guidelines by the Hartford Archdiocese all Mass Intentions must be paid for at the time of booking. All Masses are $15.00.
Save the Date: Archbishop Christopher Coyne is planning his first visit to St. Francis of Assisi Church on Sunday, December 13, 2026 at 10:30 am Mass. A reception will follow in Donahue Hall. It is important to show our support for our Church according to our Mission.

The 19th Connecticut Catholic Men’s Conference will be held on Saturday, October 10th at Holy Cross High School, 587 Oronoke Road, Waterbury, CT. Doors open at 7:30 AM with the event beginning 8:30 AM. Guest speakers: Fr. Dan Reehil (Priest & Exorcist) Fr. Decan Gibson (Missionaries of the Most Holy Eucharist), Dr. Karlo Broussard (Author) & Jeanne Mancini (Former President, March for Life). Please register at CtCatholicMen.org
Bible Study – This fall’s Bible Study of the Gospel of St. Matthew will begin this Wednesday, October 14th, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm in the Parish Center and continues for five weeks. Cost of the Bible Study Guide is $15. You can register for the Bible Study by calling the Parish Center at (203) 729-4543.
Emergency Food Collection for St. Vincent DePaul; weekend of October 17th and 18th. Due to the cancellation of the Walk for Hunger our St. Francis Confirmation Class is asking for donations (for their Service Hours): Pasta & Sauce, disposable razors & Deodorant and new socks and gloves. Collection boxes are available at all Church entrances.
Respect for Life – Baby Bottle Boomerang Campaign (Bottles at all Church entrances). Join Catholics nationwide in celebrating Respect for Life Month. Simply take a bottle and over the next couple of weeks fill it with your spare change, dollars, or a check (payable to: Carolyn’s Place). Then, like a boomerang return the bottle by the weekend of October 24th and 25th. Thank you
All Souls Day Envelopes – If you recently suffered a loss of a loved one (within the past year with no Service held at St. Francis Church), please fill out an envelope (at all Church entrances) and return it to the wooden Collection Boxes in the Church or at the Parish Office by October 24th. Your loved one’s name will be included in the All Soul’s Day Mass Program.
