Special Events

Eucharistic Minister Workshop Be What You See and Receive Who You Are will be held for all Eucharistic Ministers and those interested in becoming a Eucharist Minister on Wednesday, September 16th at 6:30 p.m. in the Church proper. Please register with the Archdiocese at: https://archdioceseofhartford.org/ministry/worship/news.

Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians is meeting on Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:30 PM at the Naugatuck Historical Museum located in the Tuttle House on Church Street. It will be an Open Meeting. Anyone interested in joining or finding out about the Club is encouraged to come and meet the members. Questions – call Mary Ann Sigworth, President (203)228-0899.

The Summer Book Club Wine and Cheese discussion meetings will be Friday, September 24th at 6:00 pm and Sunday, September 27th at 11:30 am in the Church Hall.

Please join us for the Fall Festival of Tables for a fun-filled evening on Saturday, October 3rd at 6:00 p.m. in Donahue Hall. Prizes for best table decorations. Blessing of the Animals Ceremony will take place on October 4 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Francis Statue on the Church grounds.

This year we are celebrating the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi. On the actual Feast Day of October 4th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, we will have a special concert by the Songbirds of Prospect. SAVE THE DATE! Join in the fun!

Workshop for Eucharistic Ministers who Visit the Sick and Homebound will be held on Wednesday, October 7th, 6:30 p.m – 8:30 p.m. in the Church proper. This will cover Archdiocese mandates and an opportunity to discuss encounters of your Ministry. Please register with the Archdiocese at: https://archdioceseofhartford.org/ministry/worship/news.

The 19th Connecticut Catholic Men’s Conference will be held on Saturday, October 10th at Holy Cross High School, 587 Oronoke Road, Waterbury, CT. Doors open at 7:30 AM with the event beginning 8:30 AM. Guest speakers: Fr. Dan Reehil (Priest & Exorcist) Fr. Decan Gibson (Missionaries of the Most Holy Eucharist), Dr. Karlo Broussard (Author) & Jeanne Mancini (Former President, March for Life). Please register at CtCatholicMen.org

This Fall’s Bible Study of the Gospel of St. Matthew will begin on Wednesday, October 14th at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Center and continue for five (5) weeks. Cost of the Bible Study guide is $15. You can register for the class by calling the Parish Center (203) 729-4543 M-F 8 AM – 12 noon.
