Manna Website – Anyone interested in content from the National Eucharistic Conference from last summer and a Lenten Study can now access the Website Manna. From inspiring talks and live podcast recordings to guided prayer reflections.

New Age Bereavement Program – April 23-June 25 @ 6:30-8:00 PM. St Francis is offering a 10 week program for those grieving the loss of a loved one. This is an opportunity to share with others who have experienced loss; through this process, healing can begin. To register, please call Peggy at 203.729.4543 between 8AM and 12Noon M-F. Rest in Peace: Most Rev. Henry J. Mansell, D.D.

The Most Reverend Henry J. Mansell, Fourth Archbishop of Hartford died on April 21, 2026, at the age of 88.

Friends and parishioners may pay their respects on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the St. Thomas Chapel at the Pastoral Center of the Archdiocese of Hartford, 467 Bloomfield Ave, Bloomfield, CT. Solemn Evening Prayer from the Office of the Dead will be celebrated at 6:30 pm.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 11:00 am, at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph, 140 Farmington Ave, Hartford, CT, with the Most Reverend Christopher J. Coyne, Sixth Archbishop of Hartford, as principal celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. May Perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the Faithful Departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace.
