The following events are upcoming for the month of October/November.

ONGOING

Rosary – Tuesdays @ 6 PM in the Church; Saturdays @7:30 AM before 8:00 AM Mass

Confessions – Every Saturday, 3 PM-3:45 PM in the Church.

Pre Baptismal Classes – last Monday of the Month.  Please call Parish office to register.  Next meeting Monday, July 28, 2025.

Cans and Bottles – Ongoing.  Please drop off at Rectory Back Porch.  No glass!

Clothing Drive – Ongoing.  Please drop of at Rectory Back Porch.

Prayer Shawl Ministry –   Takes place the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 12:30 PM.   Next meeting will take place on October 14th at 36 Crestwood Drive, Naugatuck.

Eucharistic Adoration of our LordEvery Friday 6:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. in the Rectory chapel.  

SPECIAL EVENTS

Evergreen/Pointsettia Sale – Back by Popular Demand.  Order forms are in this weekend’s bulletin and at all entrances to the Church.  Order due by Friday, November 21st and pickup in the Church Hall on Saturday, November 29th @ 11:00 am.

Naugatuck Ecumenical Food Bank –  We have been asked to contribute 300 boxes of potatoes to the Food Bank for Thanksgiving baskets.  Currently we are at 277 donations.  Donation boxes are at all Church entrances.

Thanksgiving Pies – Bishop Farms Thanksgiving pies are back!  Why back when you can have these delicious pies on your table?  Orders must be received by Friday, November 7th.  Order forms can be found at all Church entrances.  Pickup on November 22 @ 10:00 a.m. in the Church Hall.

St. Francis Giving Tree – Our Giving Tree will be returning this Thanksgiving Weekend.  Please take a tag from the tree and buy a new toy or clothing item and return it unwrapped with price tag or receipt included.  Please return items to the box located near the tree by December 15th.

St. Francis Church will host a Christmas Concert and Sing Along with the Songbirds of Prospect to begin the Christmas Season Sunday, December 14th @ 2:00 pm in the Church.  All are welcome to attend.

100K Rosaries for Vocations We need YOU to help us reach our goal of 100,000 Rosaries prayed for new vocations in the Archdiocese of Hartford.  Call, email, or write to the Vocations Office telling us how many Rosaries you are pledging.  Or pledge at www.hartfordpriest.com/rosary-100k.

Gift card donations – St. Francis office is looking for donations of gift cards (Big Y, Walmart & Stop & Shop) to help support our Parishioners looking for help.  If you can donate, please put in wooden Collection boxes at Church entrances or at Parish Office (203-729-4543)
